New York City
Of course a great way to spend the day is in NYC. This is the city Justin proposed and will always have a special place in our hearts. From Union NJ, hop on the New Jersey transit, make a pit stop at Newark, and arrive at Penn Station in NYC. Visit the New Jersey transit website to purchase train tickets and view times and locations. We prefer to take the train from Kean University.
Huck Finn Diner
Our favorite local diner. Located in our hometown, Huck Finn has great comfort food. Friendly advice, you have got to try the pasta salad!
Liberty State Park
So much to see here! Visit NYC skyline, hop on a ferry and visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. So much historical significance with great views. Within Liberty State Park, stop by the Liberty Science Center to explore architecture, shows, and interactive stations for the kids.
American Dream Mall
A huge mall that you can spend your day at. Plenty of shops and food, but if you are looking for more activities, you can always stop by the indoor ski slopes, the indoor waterpark, the ice skating rink, or the indoor amusement park. A fun way to spend the day with the family.
The Boardwalk
There is arcades, food, and not to mention the beach! Take a nice stroll alongside the water or go on some rides.
Atlantic City
For those who don't mind a 2hr car ride, Atlantic City has a fun night life! Gamble, drink, walk on the beach, take a mini vacation away from the kids.
