On December 21, 2019 after arriving in Florida to spend Christmas with her family, Brittany hopped on the Bumble dating app to pursue her eligible bachelor options. She stumbled upon Taylor's profile & after pondering it for awhile she decided to make a move and send him a message. Rewind to the night before (12/20/19), Taylor had been out on the town celebrating his 29th birthday with his buddies. Taylor groggily woke up the morning of the 21st to find this message. As Taylor was sleeping next to his buddy Chad, he rolled over to ask if he thought this fine lady was a catfish to which Chad quickly responded "for sure." Taylor messaged her back any way. Conversation for the next few weeks led to a first date. Fast forward to the first date at Sun King. The original intent of the date was a meeting for drinks at 3Up Rooftop Bar. Both mistakenly forgot that 3Up was closed that day. Ironically enough the couple now reside right across the street from the brewery where the love first sparked. That first date led to two, three, four dates and to the point where no one was counting anymore! Their love grew for each other quickly. If you know the couple at all you know they love to travel together. One of the first trips together was to Lexington, KY. Taylor’s fandom took them to a UK basketball game while stopping at Bourbon distilleries along the way. What destination location could be better than Kentucky!?

Taylor waited for the right moment to propose. It wasn’t a matter of IF but WHEN. The couple had planned a much needed relaxing weekend getaway to Charleston, SC in late September 2021. After the details were determined the couple asked their best friends, Justin and Kelsey, to join in on the adventure. With their help, Taylor perfectly executed the proposal on the evening of September 24th, 2021. As the friends group explored downtown Charleston, Taylor dropped on one knee in front of the Pineapple Fountain in the waterfront park near downtown. Brittany was shocked. She could not believe what was happening. Just a regular weekend getaway turned into one the biggest days of the couples’ lives. The group celebrated the entire weekend!
