Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you attend in semi formal attire and refrain from wearing any white which will be saved for the bride and additional bridal party members.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside, if weather allows. Cocktail hour and the reception shall take place indoors with an outdoor patio.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of open lot parking around the Lodge.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes! We'd love to see the little ones (and even not so little ones) joining for our special day. We ask if you plan on bringing your children please include their ages on the RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation does not state plus one, please do not bring anyone additional.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

With advance notice, special meals can be prepared for guests with allergies/intolerances or who are gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan. Please note on the RSVP if you have dietary restrictions.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes there will be on open bar with restrictions. The venue enforces a no shot policy and bartenders have been trained to refuse those who may be overindulging or underage. Outside beverages are not allowed and guests may not leave the premises with alcohol.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

We have tentative rooms blocked for guests. If you are interested in booking a room from our block please reach out to The Lodge at Geneva to let them know.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

No, we will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask you be there with us in the moment. We have hired an excellent photographer and we would love our photo's to be phone less. Photo's are welcome to be taken before the ceremony and after.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

Invitations will be mailed out with a response card.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline will be September 1, 2024. This deadline will allow us to finalize our numbers at the venue. If we do not receive an RSVP by the deadline we will put the RSVP down as no.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end by 12AM and the bar will close 1/2 an hour before the end of the reception. At this time there is no scheduled after-party.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Geneva?

Answer

There are plenty of things to do! Geneva on the Lake has many actives for all types of families. We encourage you to look at the travel section of our page!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! Our registry may not be available yet however will be available on our website soon.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
