We went there for our passport program last year. It was fun to go through what it would have been like when the settlers were first settling Nebraska.
If you are interested in watching some horse racing, this is the place to be.
Another passport stop for us. The food and atmosphere were good.
If you feel the need for a walk, this is a fun trail with a bridge that goes over the Platte River, famously known as being a mile wide and an inch deep. Its not that wide anymore. You may even see some people riding their jeeps out in the river (yes you read that correctly).
Once again another Nebraska Passport stop we did together. The pizza was good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fun. It even has vegan options.
I've ate here a few times and never been disappointed.
If you are craving some fried chicken strips, this is Grant's favorite place to eat. It's his guilty pleasure after running a marathon or an ultra marathon.
My cousin, Cody, works here. There are great walks and views of the Platte River here.
