A. Smith Bowman Distillery
One of Virginia’s most well-known distilleries, producing bourbon, rum, vodka, and gin since 1934. Founded just after Prohibition ended, it continues to craft small-batch spirits today. Guests can enjoy free hourly tours, tastings, and a visit to the on-site gift shop!

Many top-rated wineries are within about an hour’s drive, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of tastings and beautiful views. Check out: Old House, Barboursville, Wilderness Run, Mountain Run, Bacchus, and Keswick.
