It all started on a Friday evening at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at the Thunder Valley Casino. As all great love stories begin, at the bar. Robert's generous friend Shawn offered to buy my friend and I drinks, which caught Roberts eye. Then a little latter in the evening finding ourselves at the bar once again Robert and I connected. we ended up talking through the whole concert. Then I hear the song Free Bird and said this is the last song and the best song I can't miss it. So Robert said "take my hand" and I couldn't say no to his voice. from there he brought me up to front row rocking out to free bird! living our best life together, and now forever!

We were celebrating our 6 year anniversary up in North Lake Tahoe. Before going up to Tahoe I had mentioned to Robert that I would love to do the East Shore Trail walk, this trail has the most beautiful views of the turquoise waters of Tahoe. Sure enough on our anniversary he woke up bright and early ready to go, which took me by surprise being that he usually sleeps in when in Tahoe, being that he usually had too much fun the night before...haha! As we arrive at the parking lot loading up the stroller because we had Hunter with us, he threw in a gift saying it was an anniversary present. As we get walking on this trail we were both amazed of the beauty so I was distracted. I noticed Robert wearing cargo shorts (which have a lot of pockets) instead of wearing gym shorts as he usually would on a long walk. He was also acting a little stressed for this stress free walk we were on. Robert started looking for places we could stop and relax on a beautiful beach. As we passed a few he said they just weren't right. Finally we arrived at Balancing Rock, and if you know Robert and I we balance one another. Then he has me open this gift, which was a little white teddy bear wearing a t-shirt saying Team R&B on the back and when I turned it over it said will you marry me? Robert got down on one knee, took me by the hand, asked me to marry him and to be his wife!, it was the most amazing day of my life! He did a great job!!
