We've lived in DC for several years and never get tired of visits to the National Mall. You can go for a walk or bike ride and check out the museums and monuments.

Great place for coffee, pastries, and breakfast.

Tatte

Amazing bakery and cupcake shop. We think they are better than Georgetown cupcakes, but feel free to do your own taste test.

Baked & Wired

The best bagel place in DC (New Yorkers, lower your expectations slightly).

We did a blind taste test with our friends Max and Laura, so there is some (biased) research behind this.

Call Your Mother

One of Dana's favorite happy hour spots - they have great drinks (we recommend the mojito or pina colada), empanadas, and Cuban style coffee.

A combination of a bookstore and restaurant, and Dana and Ben's favorite place for a Sunday brunch. The Goober Pie is Dana's favorite dessert in DC!
