While we love your children, we ask that you make it a date night! So please come and enjoy yourself and celebrate with us. We can't wait to share this day with you!
The venue is all one level with no stairs, so it is wheelchair/walker accessible. There is also plenty of parking in the large lot, so no one will have to 'squeeze' in.
Ways you can RSVP: You can RSVP by mail with the pre-addressed card you get with your formal invitation. Online under the RSVP tab of our webpage - You start by putting in your name and follow the instructions. Or you can send us an email to our wedding email: wilsonandeastwood@gmail.com
We are asking for everyone to please RSVP by September 1st at the latest, so we can let our venue know final numbers for the food and setup.
We are hoping to start the ceremony by 3 p.m., so please come by 2:40 p.m. so you have time to park, chat with other guests if you would like and find a seat before the start. We are beyond happy to celebrate with you!
We are hoping for it to be outdoors, but if the weather is going to be too cold or just not nice, then please don't worry because it will be inside the venue. We all know that in Canada the weather can be bright, warm and sunny in October. But it can also be cold, dark and rainy. The venue requires us to let them know the Thursday (October 17th) before what we would like to do. But please bring a coat or sweater no matter the weather, since the nights can get cold. We will update on the site to let everyone know as soon as we make a choice and it will be easy to see at the top of the website!
Under the travel tab of the website we have gone through and put the names and any needed information to many local hotels. We also included how far they are from the venue and other minor details about them. Since there are so many and everyone will have a different preference, we do NOT have any blocks setup at any of them.
Yes! The venue is opening the cash bar for guests at 3:30 p.m. and our DJ will be playing music while we are getting the photos taken. Then at 6 p.m will start a buffet style dinner where we hope everyone can find something to their liking. And then after we will have a dessert bar with a mix of items and cupcakes from our wonderful venue staff and amazing baker available for you to enjoy. At 9 p.m. there will be trays with cheese, crackers, veggie/dip, fruit and others with sandwiches and wraps. Gotta keep that energy up for all the mingling and dancing!
There is the option on your RSVP card that is mailed with your formal invitation, or you can answer the question when filling out the online RSVP. There is also the option to email us directly if you want to be 100% sure we get it, you can send that to: wilsonandeastwood@gmail.com
We will have a gift registry setup for anyone who wants to do a gift. But please know a gift is not expected or mandatory to come, having you come on our day is gift enough! We know people are struggling, so please don't feel obligated to buy anything if you can't afford it. We want everyone to just come out and enjoy the time with us in celebrating our journey into marriage. If you are adamant you wish to gift something and nothing appeals to you in the registry, then cash to put into the honeymoon is greatly appreciated.
