Where to Stay

Maui is a small island; you can get shore to shore within an hour. We have listed some recommended hotels below. There are also a variety of vacation rentals available. Our wedding venue, Haiku Mill, is in upcountry Maui near the lush north shore, which we personally prefer for its authentic, less-touristy feel. Staying on the north shore (at least for the first 2 days during wedding activities) means you’ll be surrounded by rolling hills and tropical scenery, and you'll be close to the venue, the airport, and the start of the famous Road to Hana. For those wanting a resort experience, the more developed south shore towns of Kihei (30 minutes away) and Wailea (45 minutes away) are home to Maui's major resorts and hotels, and are known for their sandy beaches, golf courses, food and shopping. Airbnb and Vrbo in Kihei and Wailea also offer condo rental options, many with pools and beach access.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Whenever is best for you! Arriving a day early (Thursday) would give you time to adjust to the timezone and enjoy downtime on the island before the festivities begin on Friday.

THE BRIDE AND GROOM

We will be staying on the north shore at the Historic Wailuki Inn (near the airport, about 20 minutes from the wedding venue), which will be reserved in its entirety from Thursday to Sunday to serve as a common gathering place for our guests, and for the welcome dinner on Friday evening. On Sunday morning after the wedding, we will transfer to the Andaz Maui on the south shore for a few days of vacation. We encourage guests to relax with us at Andaz beach the day after the wedding.
