Our wedding dress code is casual. We want all of our guests to be comfortable. If you want to wear a fancy dress, go for it, but at the end of the day your presence is what is most important to us.
We want our guests to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate without having to monitor their children all night long. Due to limited space, only the names of those invited will be listed when you RSVP. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to join us on our big day!
Because of the capacity restrictions at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding and please reach out with any questions.
The wedding ceremony will be held outside at the venue, so please dress accordingly. In case of rain or snow, the ceremony would take place inside in the same location as the reception.
Yes. We want everybody to feel truly present and enjoy this special moment with us, so we ask that phones be put away during the ceremony. We hired an amazing photographer who will capture all the moments, and we will make sure to share those photos after the fact. However, please feel free to take tons of photos during the reception to share with us. We love candids!
We are having a smoked brisket taco bar. There will also be beans, rice, and (Kayla's favorite) chips with queso! There will gluten free options available.
There aren't any hotels in the immediate area of the venue, but there are a number of accommodations, both in Council Bluffs (about 15 minutes away) and Omaha (about 20 minutes away). Our venue recommends Magnolia Hotel and Hotel Deco, which are both located in downtown Omaha.
There will be assigned seating. We will have a seating chart posted, so please take a second to check that out before the reception. We just want to ensure that everyone gets to sit with people they know since space is limited, but feel free to move around once dinner is over.
HELL YES! There will be an open bar with limited beer and wine options.
