Where can we park the day of the wedding?

Answer

There is a free parking lot behind the Hall at Fauntleroy. It is off of SW Director St, which is a one way street. You cannot enter from SW Barton St. We recommend you take 45th ave, you'll pass Wildwood Market, then turn right at the roundabout and the parking lot will be up the hill on your right. The ceremony space is accessible from the parking lot and front entrance.

We are hoping to celebrate all weekend, so plan your travel accommodations for 10/9/25-10/12/25.

Which airport do we fly into?

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. West Seattle is less than 20 min from the airport.

Can we bring our children?

We have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception adults only.

Where should we stay?

Answer

For our out of towners, we recommend staying in an Airbnb or Vrbo. The Grove is the only recommended hotel in the area. Otherwise, you can stay in downtown Seattle which is 20 min from our venue. We'd recommend renting a vehicle if you stay outside of West Seattle.

How to get around West Seattle?

Answer

Parking is like any other place in Seattle unfortunately, hard to find. Luckily most neighborhood parking is free! If you are coming from out of town without a vehicle we recommend utilizing Uber/Lyft in West Seattle only. It can be expensive to go back and forth between downtown Seattle and West Seattle. If you want to visit downtown, we recommend taking the West Seattle-Downtown Seattle Water Taxi! It is around $11.50 round trip and totally worth it!: https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/metro/travel-options/water-taxi/west-seattle Lastly, you can always rent a car, but we do recommend utilizing public transportation and/or walking around the city whenever you can!
