It all began back in 2010, when Jessie moved to Australia and joined the local kids church at GOEC. Among the christmas performances and chaotic games, there was a boy named Wilson. However, they did not know each other until a few years later, and like any good teenage love story, things kicked off with any excuse to chat, hypebeast fashion, tips on shipping from taobao to australia, favourite tv shows. They knew things got serious serious when, at a church camp, they ended up chatting all night in the common area (yes, common area, everyone relax pls), and watched the sunrise together. Then came Wilson's year 12 formal. Wilson, the most nervous he has ever been, decided it was time to pop the big question: will you be my formal date? Jessie of course, said yes (honestly, she was already picking her dress). Soon after, they made things official. Fast forward 7 years and here we are, having survived highschool, uni, work, multiple flight bookings, plenty of fun dates, marathon training and wilson not being a sweet tooth (jessie's biggest nightmare). Through it all, there’s been lots of laughter, a few tears, and plenty of growth together. Finally in 2024, on their South Africa trip, Wilson popped the actual question. And thankfully, Jessie said yes again, this time with a ring! Now, they’re finally celebrating their love, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of the journey. Can you spot us below?
