We're Renewing Our Vows

Our story began with our love for God in the year 1993. We were just two young members with a desire to worship attending Tabernacle of Gospel in Action Church. Through several mutual interactions and a few conversations, we realized there was a romantic spark. We decided we wanted to follow that spark and see where it would lead us. We officially began dating in July. After spending several years filled with love letters, long calls, memorable dates, and plenty of laughter we just knew we couldn’t let this ride end. With some guidance from our parents, we decided it was time to take the relationship a step further. On December 28, 1996, we joined together in Holy matrimony and made a promise before God, our family, and friends, that the two of us have now chosen to become one. Though it hasn’t been easy, God has helped our union remain strong and kept us together for 27 years. He has blessed us abundantly over this time. We started as two young lovebirds with little in our hands and now we’re a beautiful family of five. Our journey wasn’t easy and without God, we wouldn’t have gotten this far but we thank Him for His favor and mercy. We are honored that God allows our love to keep increasing each and every day. Although our story is far from over we would like to celebrate and honor God for how far He has gotten us. We would love for you all to join us as we renew our vows once again before Him, profess our love for each other, and reaffirm the promise we’ve made to remain true until the faithful day God calls us home.
