Funny enough, Mackenzie and Alyssa met through the infamous dating app, Tinder. The two matched on February 20, 2023 and had incredibly dry conversation on the messenger until Mackenzie asked Alyssa for her phone number to text her instead. After just a few short days, an interest sparked and they decided to FaceTime for the first time. In true queer fashion, the FaceTime call lasted 9 hours! They spent intentional time getting to know each other, joking around, and Mackenzie finally found out that Alyssa is in fact NOT 6' tall as she previously pictured her to be. They had their first official date on March 4, 2023 to UCO's Cheer and Dance event! This date lead to weekly dates together! Needless to say, they were both pretty interested! Officially on April 20, 2023, Mackenzie asked Alyssa to be her girlfriend via fortune cookie that she put together herself with the help of her friends and sister! Since then, they have done everything under the sun! They have been to concerts galore, taken trips to new places, celebrated everything, got two cats (Link & Bongo), and of course committed to doing these things together for the rest of their lives! Its like they're in love or something...
