What's the situation with gifts?

Answer

Amsterdam is not a cheap place, so we are already incredibly grateful for everyone just making the trip over. However if you would like to buy a gift - then as many of you know, Wilma is a huge fan of nature and wildlife. It has been a life long dream of her's to visit the Galápagos National Park in Ecuador - which is home to several unique species of animals, found nowhere else. For our honeymoon we plan to visit this special part of the world. Any contributions to the honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated and enormously helpful in making this dream a reality! At the moment things are fully open in Amsterdam and it looks like the Wedding will go ahead with no restrictions.

What's a QR code?

Answer

That weird looking black and white square thing. Apps and QR codes from other countries are accepted in the Netherlands - e.g. The NHS App. So is the EU Digital COVID Certificate. If you print out any paper copies - make sure they have QR codes on them. It can sometimes take a few days to activate your app or generate a QR code, so please do this well in advance of travelling to the airport!
