A ring is like a circle, it goes on forever. It's not like a triangle, triangle have corners. It's like a circle. Morgan initially stung me (on Bumble, where all love is found) Wednesday, July 24th, 2019, around 10:30 am. It was love at first text. I was determined to take her out no matter what. As a gentleman does, he lets the lady pick where they would like to go on the first date. Morgan’s idea was to go to Quaker Steak, due to her love of wings. It was at this moment I knew she was the right choice. From her humor to her laugh, her beauty to her demeanor, I knew I wanted to be with her. Fast forward a few weeks, and we went on our second date. This time to Fat Head’s in North Canton. I really wanted to impress her this time and knew the move to make. I picked her up in my uncle’s Mustang, which probably helped my smooth moves even more. Once again, more great conversations and laughs were had which led to a backroad drive from North Canton to Tusky. The smile on Morgan’s face, driving along the country roads, made me feel a way that I have never felt before. After dropping the Mustang off and driving Morgan back home to Uniontown, I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness, I knew no matter what, I wanted this special woman in my life forever, she was the one. Over the last 4 years, that initial feeling has only grown stronger. We have gone on many trips together, made career changes, and most importantly we started our own little corgi family. I knew I was going to marry her from the moment I met her, and I knew I had to make her mine soon. After numerous hours of web browsing for a ring I had found the right one. I had to produce a plan to get it but wasn’t sure how. I knew she would question where I was and what was taking me so long after work. The plan clicked; I would say that I was going to T-Mobile to look into getting a new phone. This was about a half mile away from the jewelry store. I parked my car and locked my phone in the glove box. After getting the call a few days later that the ring was ready, if you know me, you know I can’t wait. Once I had possession of the ring, I had to give it to her. Morgan was home, sick, laying on the couch when I asked her to be my wife. Super romantic, I know, but hey it worked! It has been the greatest years of my life with my Morgie. I love every minute with her and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. I cannot wait for the day to be here when I can officially say she is my wife, the mother to our corgis, and my best friend. October 7th can’t come soon enough.
