When should I book my hotel room by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive approximately 15-30 minutes before our ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?

Please dress formally. While we understand and would also much rather be wearing our comfiest clothes - this is a special occasion deserving of formal attire!

Due to a limited budget, we ask that you please not bring any extra people that do not appear on your RSVP.

As stated above, due to a limited budget, those that are invited will appear with your online RSVP.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation provided from the hotel to the ceremony. St. Patrick's Church is approximately 25 minutes away from The Merrill Hotel where our reception will take place and we will have hotel room blocks set up for guests. Guests may drive to and from the ceremony, and then park for the remainder of the evening at The Merrill Hotel should they book a room there.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at both the ceremony location and the reception venue. The Merrill Hotel has parking across Mississippi Drive near the river, across Chestnut Street near Skinny's Barbeque, and behind the hotel in the parking garage.
