Matron of Honor
Rachael and Kayla became best friends while burning CDs featuring Mary J. Blige and P!nk from Limewire circa 2002. Spent countless hours playing Yoshi's Island and making not-at-all-embarrassing home movies with Oscar worthy writing and acting. More than just a best friend, Rachael has become a sister to Kayla over the years.
Bridesmaid
Sierra has been by Kayla's side throughout every stage in her life, including the most awkward ones. From moshing at metalcore shows to matching tattoos in Ocean Beach, Kayla and Sierra have countless stories worthy of a NYT Best Sellers' memoir.
Bridesmaid
Dani once hip-checked Kayla into a bush while walking from physics class to their college dorm... and the rest is history. Dani is Kayla's college bestie and one of the smartest, weirdest, funniest, most genuine people Kayla has ever known. 12 years later, no one makes Kayla laugh quite like Dani does.
Bridesmaid
Megan is Kayla's med school bestie and kindred spirit. So many laughs (and tears) shared over the years as they journeyed from Omaha and now to Northern California together.
Officiant/Best Man
Only a block away from John growing up, the Guttenberg house was a second home to John. Having gone to school together from Kindergarten through college, their bond was strengthened by local poker games, CYO basketball, whitewater kayaking, and more.
Best Man
Among the groomsmen, only Jason can claim he's lived with the groom longer than Kayla. From mathlete teammates in grade school, to beer pong teammates in college; now their weekends consist of fantasizing over early retirement, and sleeping in without melatonin.
Groomsman
While their weekends might be more tame now, swapping out fraternity pledging with solving crosswords, Casey's intellectual curiosity and interest to try new things has always made his bond with John a unique one, full of archery, disc golf, and more.
Groomsman
When John and Sean graduated from UCLA, they made a goal to run the 3-mile campus perimeter before summer was over. Ten years, two marathons, and many shin splits later, they still listen to a custom spotify playlist to celebrate their accomplishments.
Groomsman
John can still recall meeting a wide-eyed, wide-eared, 17-year old Amit, who had two goals at UCLA; graduate en route to medical school, and be the first of Indian-descent to earn a spot on UCLA's basketball team. 15 years later, we can safely say while one of these dreams has died, serving as Sharp's Chief of Internal Medicine isn't too shabby.
Groomsman
Mitch and John's friendship can be best described as a decade-long competition. Whether it's golf or fantasy baseball, Mitch just hates to lose, and John loves to make it happen.
Groomsman
When Sean switched his UCLA major to Economics, John finally had an ally to commiserate some brutal accounting courses. Since then, their relationship has grown to include weekends at the park, Bay to Breakers, and letting the big dog bark at the golf course.
