Matron of Honor
Two girls go to the same college, join the same sorority, and become best friends? Groundbreaking. After approximately 15 years of buying matching merch at concerts, too many ‘impromptu’ tequila shots playing Odd’s Are, our quarterly trips, and infinite hours spent yapping over a happy hour glass of wine — I wouldn’t trade befriending the tall girl from Lincoln, NE for anything. If a decision needs to be made on my behalf, please take it up with my manager, Bailey Marie.
Man of Honor
Nick and I’s friendship origin story began at The Gingerbread House preschool at age four. My mom still laughs about finding four-year-old me on the phone with Nick, legs up on the couch, chatting like teenagers about our favorite Lion King songs and how his baby sister’s crying kept him up all night. Flash forward 30 years; the topics of conversation have evolved, but the friendship remains the same — tried & true blue. When it comes to getting the party started, no one shines brighter than the human disco ball himself, Nick Jobeun.
Best Man
Greg and I have been friends since the third grade, when my mom forced me to go to Bingo Night with the chubby new kid in school. After a few rocky years sharing the spotlight on a rec. basketball team (and a stolen MVP award), we became great friends and never looked back. Greg is the world’s biggest Orioles fan, even naming his adorable son after one of the Orioles’ greats. Expect to see Greg on the dance floor from the first song to the last. If you see him performing dance moves that would make Neo from the Matrix jealous, don’t call the paramedics that’s just his favorite party trick.
Best Man
Mickey and I have been best friends since Kindergarten when we shared a table in Ms. Grimshaw’s class. Despite besting him in the 2nd grade spelling bee and him being an Eagles fan, Mickey has remained my oldest friend and confidant. If you’re looking to get the party started, all you need to do is turn to Mickey and ask him to perform his world famous Carlton dance. Just don’t ask him to talk about Penn State football.
Ring Bearer
Henry is our nephew and as the eldest boy, he fits the bill! A brave and hilarious ball of fun, catch him barreling down the aisle and commanding the dance floor with his best Spider Man moves.
Flower Child
Isaac is our nephew, the youngest of two, and is sweet as can be. His calm confidence makes him the perfect boy for the job. No one loves to boogie more than Isaac, so brace yourselves for a dance off!
Officiant
Since Mr. Lynch’s Latin class in 10th grade, Kevin’s been one of my best friends when it comes to movies, sports, and everything in between. From school, to work after college, to being the best tour guide that Colorado has to offer, Kevin has been there every step of the way. Kevin has always had a way with words and has known us as a couple since the very beginning, so it just made sense for him to be our officiant. Please make sure to pass along all funny and embarrassing stories to him so that he can properly make us laugh at the altar.
