We met at our favorite dog park, Fetch. We were unknowingly sitting next to each other and both commented on each other's dogs. After a brief conversation, Savanna was smitten and knew she had met the one. Fate intervened and the two matched on a dating app shortly after their first meeting. The couple's first date was also at Fetch on May 13, 2021.

After discovering Michael's plans of purchasing a ring, she could sense the proposal coming. Knowing this, Michael decided to throw her off the trail by claiming there were "supply chain issues" with the ring. Despite Michael doing his best to throw off Savanna, she hoped he would propose on their vacation to Islamorada over the summer. While eating dinner at sunset Michael asked Savanna if she wanted to get a better view on the pier. She was convinced this would be it. To her disappointment, it wasn't. Michael had successfully thrown her off one final time. Finally, the next day on July 3rd, Michael and his family surprised Savanna with a beautiful proposal in front of Pierre's.
