Frequently Asked QuestionsFrequently Asked Questions

The Wedding Website of Arlesha Armstrong and Vernon Wilson
Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Black Attire Our wedding calls for elegant formal attire. Ladies, we invite you to wear long or short dresses, while gentlemen should opt for suits or dress shirts with ties. To align with our black and gold wedding aesthetic, we kindly request that guests dress entirely in black. Please avoid jeans, tennis shoes, and sneakers. As a special note from the bride, white, off-white, and white-patterned clothing are not permitted. We appreciate your attention to these details and look forward to celebrating with you in style.

Question

What time should guests arrive? What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The venue doors will open at 3:15 pm, therefore we ask that everyone arrive and be seated by 3:45 pm to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted start. Please note that doors will be locked promptly at 4 pm, and no late entries will be permitted once the ceremony begins.

Question

Where do we sit during the ceremony & reception?Where do we sit during the ceremony & reception?

Answer

As our wedding will celebrate unity, we will not have a “bride side” or “groom side” during the ceremony. Please pick a seat, not a side in honor of this. At the reception, we're having open seating—just be sure to avoid the reserved tables. We can't wait to see everyone connecting and enjoying the celebration together.

Question

Are plus ones allowed? Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

Because we can only accommodate our closest family and friends, we are not allowing plus ones. We kindly ask that only those listed on the formal invitations attend. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Will children be able to attend? Will children be able to attend?

Answer

Although we love and adore your children, we have decided to make our special day an adult only celebration.

Question

Are photos or videos allowed? Are photos or videos allowed?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests keep their devices put away during our ceremony, allowing everyone to be fully present as we exchange our vows before God in marriage. Our professional photographers and videographer will beautifully capture these intimate moments for us to cherish. However, you may take as many photos and videos during the reception as you like. We can’t wait to see your POV!

Question

What if I don’t RSVP in time? What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately missed RSVPs will be marked “no” as we must provide exact counts to our vendors. We will miss celebrating with you, however, due to this we cannot accommodate late RSVPs. Please be sure to RSVP no later than February 14.
