It all started on a glorious, Thursday night the Blackhawks were playing the Dallas Stars at Varsity Tavern....Tom had his cousin "Bobby" aka Mike in town. Tom wanted to show him Fort Worth a bit and took him around town, they also wanted to catch the Hawks VS the Stars, as its a fun game since the teams are from both our markets. Sarah was reluctant to come out that evening, she had just taken an exam that day and wanted to stay in. Sarah’s really good girlfriend Abby had other plans, she thought it was best they go out and celebrate. This is how Sarah & Tom’s worlds collided. Sarah and Tom happen to be at Varsity on a Thursday evening. The Blackhawks happen to be playing the Stars, so the game was televised locally. Mike and Tom were watching the game and Abby ran up to them cheering on the Blackhawks with them. They seemed to know eachother the way they were speaking to eachother. Sarah came up shortly there after and met Tom for the first time, the rest is history. Tom and Sarah struck up a conversation, but it was’nt just a quick hi and bye, they spent a few hours there talking and getting to know eachother. While speaking Sarah mentioned she was 24 and she wondered how old Tom was...he didnt want to be the old guy, so he said he was 27, which he was. He then failed to mention he was turning 28 in less than a week. The night ended with Tom walking Sarah to an uber and they went their seperate ways. After meeting for the first time something was different. They continued to text often and got together again Saturday before Tom, Mike and family went to the Blackhawks Stars game. They each tell eachother “that was the best Thursday night of your life because you met me.” That Thursday was November 30, 2017 they still use this date as when they started “dating” because they became inseperable that day
