Yes! We will be at the Horizons Kitchen & Wine Bar (at the Woodcliff Hotel) on Friday night as an informal "welcome" event. Feel free to stop by, we will be at the bar after rehearsal dinner for an hour or two. We are hosting a brunch and golf scramble the morning after the wedding and would love to see you there! We are asking guests to RSVP by April 25, 2026. You can RSVP on this website, or by sending in the 'RSVP' card included with your invitation. We do ask that all of our guests use the website's RSVP to indicate your meal choices for dinner. If have questions or need assistance please let us know.
1. First check that the name you are entering matches exactly the name as it appears on your invitation. (If there are spelling errors please let Meredith know so that it can be corrected). 2. Only enter ONE person's name on the invitation (Example: if the invitation is addressed as "Mr. John & Mrs. Jane Doe and Family" only enter "John Doe" or "Jane Doe," then you can RSVP for everyone in your party. 3. Yes! We know many of our friends and loved ones have kids, and we welcome you to bring them. Dinner: Children's entree options will be available for dinner, we also have coloring and activity books for their entertainment. Cocktail Hour & Reception: Our venue has a recreation room onsite specifically for children that be staffed by Cobblestone Creek by someone qualified to supervise children. There will be plenty of activities and amenities available for the kids, including movies, games of every kind (arcade, video games, board games), and toys. We will also provide fun favor bags, activity books, and other fun surprises for our young guests to enjoy!
While we don't have a formalized dress code, we would recommend dressing formally (though to your comfort level). If you love wearing a gown or tux, great! Oppositely, if the thought makes you break out into a cold sweat, no problem! First and foremost, want everyone to be comfortable and have a great time. Just make sure to bring your dancing shoes! The venue is a country club and does have some dress code requirements such as no denim (for men and women) and collared shirts for men.
Yes, we have made it clear to the venue that some of our guests (including the bride) have food allergies. They have assured us that they can accommodate all allergy needs. If you have a specific food allergy (gluten, dairy, soy, etc.) please make sure you detail your dietary needs when you RSVP.
Where you should stay depends on your travel preferences! For ease of travel to and from the venue, we recommend staying in the Rochester area (Rochester, Pittsford, Victor). We have room blocks at hotels close to the venue, as well as recommendations for other accommodations in the area on the 'Travel' page (https://www.zola.com/wedding/willsandmeredith/travel). For guests traveling in groups or looking to share accommodations, check out AirBnB or Vrbo for options.
Of course, everyone is welcome to come to brunch, even if you are not golfing.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM, we recommend arriving at the venue by 4:15 to give you enough time to get parked and seated. The ceremony will be held outdoors, given how warm it can be in June you may wish to avoid being out in the heat for too long by not arriving too early.
Yes, there is a parking lot onsite at the venue. Cabs are also available through ride apps such as Uber and Lyft.
