Westcliffe is a small town and can be popular in the summer so we recommend making reservations ASAP. If you have further questions on lodging, please reach out to either the bride or groom.

Question

What will the weather be?

Answer

Summer weather in Colorado is highly unpredictable especially in the mountains. It is likely there will be a brief rain shower in the early afternoon but the sun comes back out immediately after. Based on previous years, we expect the high to be around mid 70s and the low around mid 50s. Please come dressed appropriately for whatever the weather may bring!

Question

What is the elevation in Westcliffe and will it affect me?

Answer

Westcliffe sits at the base of Sangre de Cristo Range of the Rocky Mountains and as such the elevation is ~7,900 ft. Altitude sickness typically only occurs at elevations higher than this, however some people still experience symptoms at elevations as low as 4,000-5,000 ft. While experiencing altitude sickness is unlikely, we highly recommend everyone come hydrated and prepared. For our guests traveling from sea-level states, please keep this in mind when consuming alcohol and participating in activities.

Question

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day. However, should you wish to give to our honeymoon, a wedding card can be dropped in the card box at the reception or you can use this website to contribute.
