Question

Where is the wedding?Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be taking place at MeadowView Weddings & Events, located at 2575 KY Hwy 801 North, Morehead, KY 40351. You’ll see signage to guide you once you arrive.

Question

When should I arrive?When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving around 2:00 PM. This will give you time to park, mingle, and find your seat before the ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 PM.

Question

What should I plan to wear? What should I plan to wear?

Answer

We are excited to share that we would love the dress code for our special day to be semi-formal. Below, you'll find more detailed instructions and helpful advice for both ladies and gentlemen attending the celebration. It is not required that you follow these recommendations, think of it more as a inspiration guide! For the ladies: We’d love for our female guests to wear dresses that make them feel great, whether cocktail length or longer. Feel free to play with color and style! While we’re hoping for a bright, sunny day, October can bring a chill, so we recommend bringing a shawl or jacket to stay warm just in case. For the gentlemen: Feel free to bring your best style - A suit is a great way to elevate the moment, and a jacket adds a nice touch. That said, dress pants and a crisp shirt can look just as sharp. Wear what makes you feel confident and ready to celebrate.

Question

Where should I plan to park?Where should I plan to park?

Answer

Our venue has on-site parking! Once you take the exit off of I64, head south and look for MeadowView's sign. Please pull past the first two buildings on your left, and towards the large white barn behind them. Parking is on your left!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with as many people as possible, due to the limitations of our venue, we cannot accommodate additional plus ones. If you aren't sure if your guest has already been included with your invitation, you can check through our RSVP portal. This can be done by typing your name into the RSVP portal. Once you hit enter, all members of your party that have been invited will display. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom for clarification,

Question

Will food be provided? Will food be provided?

Answer

Yes. We will be serving dinner and dessert during the reception. While we will not be serving alcohol, a variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available, including soda, tea, water, and lemonade. If you have any dietary restrictions, you’ll have the chance to let us know when you RSVP on our website.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We haven’t reserved a hotel block, as we know our guests may choose to stay in either Morehead or Lexington. The wedding is taking place in Morehead, which is a little over an hour from Lexington. If you'd prefer to stay closer to the venue, Morehead has several convenient hotel options just a short drive away. Lexington offers more variety if you're planning to stay in the area longer or are looking for additional amenities.
