...We Eloped!

Jake and I met at church through a mutual friend (shout out to Lindsay!). After some encouragement and a rush of confidence, I went over to talk to Jake trying to play it cool and "act natural". We cultivated a friendship over the next few months, hanging out on Monday nights with friends and trying to outdo each other with a Da Bomb hot sauce challenge (from the show "Hot Ones"). And then one random Tuesday I received a DM on Instagram, from who other than Jake Armitage telling me how much he loved the podcast I did with my sister, Chloe. After a few lengthy messages back and forth, Jake asked if I would like to continue our conversation in person over coffee (who could say no to coffee?!). We decided to meet up at Lofty Coffee (a few blocks from where we now live!) and spent FIVE hours talking, completely intrigued and uninterrupted. And honestly, as the saying goes, the rest is history!
