Travel

The major need-to-knows for travelling to our wedding.

Travel Note

Why Bali?

We originally chose Bali as it was a central point between our families in Australia, and our chosen home for the last 12 years in Dubai. After a pandemic and three wedding reschedulings, we've stayed with Uluwatu due to its stunning clifftops, ocean proximity, and laidback vibes. We've loved visiting the region, and hope it becomes one of your favourites too.

Travel Note

Getting There

We recommend flying into Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, and planning to arrive by the 25th to combat any jet-lag or unexpected flight delays.

Travel Note

Where to stay

We strongly suggest staying within the Uluwatu area, to avoid being caught in unpredictable traffic en route to the event.

Travel Note

Weather in Bali

The weather in Uluwatu is sunny and pleasant, with an average of 28C in May. Temperatures can drop to 23C at night, so you may want to bring a light jacket or drink more wine.

Travel Note

Safe travels

Please purchase personal travel insurance ahead of your departure. We suggest guests check Australia's Smart Traveller website regarding which medications are allowed within the country, and for further health and safety information. Please, no boogie bags.
