Before we officially met, our paths had crossed more times than we even realized. We had been in the same places, knew some of the same people, and somehow never actually met. It wasn’t until Matt joined Bailey’s team at work that we finally got to know each other. We started out as coworkers and became good friends pretty quickly. There were lots of matcha runs to Valor, watching the same shows just so we’d have something to talk about, and finding excuses to spend time together outside of work. Looking back, it was probably pretty obvious where things were headed. Eventually, that friendship led us on a little adventure to a coffee shop near Helen. We spent hours talking and laughing, all while avoiding the question of whether or not we were actually on a date. We both left wondering what exactly had just happened. Two days later, Bailey invited Matt over for dinner so we could finally figure out what the heck was going on between us. By the end of the night, we had our answer. And the rest is history.
