Wedding Party

Had we been able to have a traditional ceremony, this crew would have stood with us.

Sarah Jenson

Maid of Honor

No one has seen me through more seasons of my life than Sarah and still wanted to hang out with me. We're opposites in most every way but it just works. My mom may have forced me to be friends with her in the beginning but I've chosen it every day since. We've lived in multiple states together, shared decades of friendship, growth, awkward phases, bad hair decisions and so much loud singing. I love you, Sar!

Lindsay Knox

Bridesmaid

Lindsay was a great gift to our whole family when she married my brother, Kelly. We connected instantly and she has become a constant safe place, my wise sage and always up for having fun. Her home and table have held some of the dearest memories for our whole family. She's the kind of person you always want in your corner and I"m so grateful she's forever in mine. I love you, Linds!

Emily Knox

Bridesmaid

Emily is a delight and the perfect match for my brother, Royal. She brought a consistency, creativity and ease to our family dynamic. Her penchant for unique food, great design, thoughtful furnishings, undiscovered music and travel destinations make her one to know. She's an avid researcher who serves through sharing her every-expanding knowledge of health and medicine. She started the Knox girl's club with the birth of the first grandchild, Margaux and we're forever grateful. She's a remarkable woman and I'm honored to call her family. I love you, Em!

Jordan Haymaker

Bridesmaid

Jordan is Caleb's older sister and one more reason why I feel like I hit the jackpot in marrying this man. She and I became fast friends on our first meeting. She's warm, kind, thoughtful and self-aware which makes her incredibly aware of others. Although not yet in my life as long as the others, the connection has been deep and invaluable. She and her husband, Dustin, are ones Caleb and I are always wanting invite over to hang with and we pray they'll move closer :). I count myself insanely lucky to get to call her family from here on out. I love you, Jordan!!

Richard Spiering

Best Man

I’ve known Richard since 6th grade and I’ve had the deepest respect for him since that day. His kindness knows no bounds and his adventurous spirit is infectious. He truly believes anything is possible with a little bravery, some hard work, and the motto – “Ask for forgiveness, not permission.” But most of all he believes in himself and his friends. I don’t think he’s ever said a negative thing about another person, and not because he doesn’t have good discretion, but because I think he actually looks at them through the love of Jesus. Back in highschool, I could call him any night of the week to go off-roading or on a midnight hike just because we wanted to see the stars. He knows that we are made to experience fun and joy and peace. And he wants everyone else to experience that with him.

Zech Mickel

Groomsman

Zech was one of my first friends in college, and has remained one of my closest for the last decade. My first Thanksgiving away from home I had nowhere to go, so I joined his family in Central Oregon and enjoyed their hospitality every Thanksgiving for the next 5 years. He knows the worst and the best in me, and has always remained close. I can always depend on him to shoot hoops or go for a hike. His heart is quiet, but his love for his people is fierce.

Beau Stumberg

Groomsman

Beau is one of the most expressive people and best storytellers I have ever met. He can also be stoic, but it is only due to his deep soul. He knows where the best rope swings and hot springs are. He’ll cook the hell out of a meal to share with friends without expecting anything in return. He’s an incredible connector and brother and friend. He is hilarious and thoughtful and kind and justice oriented. He moved away about 4 years ago, but has remained a confidant and encourager.

Thomas Ruttger

Groomsman

I met Thomas in college, but wish I had grown up with him. He is either thinking about an adventure from high school living on a lake in Minnesota, or is thinking about the next time he gets out on the water. He is the most driven person I’ve ever met. He’s the only human I know who has ever completed a full Ironman Triathlon and is now becoming a doctor. One day he’ll replace my old joints for new ones just to take me on another adventure. He makes me think anything is possible, and then proves it.

For all the days along the way
