The jig is up!

Jake and Megan met at Chaparral Middle School in Diamond Bar, CA in 2004. They were friends for two years before Jake worked up the courage to ask Megan to their Promotion Dance in 8th grade. Though a budding romance was underway, the difficulty of "long distance" between their rival high schools (Jake at Brea Olinda and Megan at Diamond Bar High) kept their love from blooming. The two stayed loosely in touch via social media through the years. Megan would think of Jake whenever she heard songs by Social Distortion and Hootie and The Blowfish, and Jake would get nostalgic when he saw pictures of Megan, old or new. It wasn't until Megan moved back to California for her Physician Assistant program that Jake and Megan truly reconnected. Jake wooed Megan by sending her Snapchats of romantic songs, funny GIFs, pictures of him in his Sheriff's uniform, and with his epic moustache. By the end of their first date, both Jake and Megan knew they were "finally facing their Waterloo". The jig was up! They had found their true love.
