Answer
We will not be providing a shuttle to or from the venue. That said, there will be plenty of parking available on-site for all guests. If at any point you don’t feel comfortable driving home, we’ll have a few late-night drivers available to safely take anyone who’s had a little too much to drink back to their accommodations. If you use a driver, please plan to coordinate with a friend to pick you up and return you to your car the next day.

What if I can’t find a place to stay on Vashon?
Answer
Vashon accommodations are extremely limited, and they book up fast—if you wait, there’s a very real chance nothing will be left (we’re already close to that point). If you’re unable to stay on the island, there are Airbnbs in West Seattle and hotels in downtown Seattle that can work as backup options. Just note that staying off-island means you’ll need to take the ferry to and from Vashon for each event. A few important things to know: The last car ferry from Vashon to Seattle on Saturday night departs at 12:15am The passenger-only (foot) ferry between downtown Seattle and Vashon is amazing, but it only runs until 7:00pm Monday–Saturday If you plan to stay off-island, please factor ferry schedules into your plans so you don’t miss the ride home.

Are Kids Welcome?

As big kid-lovers, this was a tough one. We decided to stay a little neutral. There will be a few children present (including our niece and nephew), but overall we’re hoping the weekend feels like a carefree, adults-first celebration where everyone can fully relax and have fun. We kindly suggest leaving the rascals at home if you’re able 🤍 That said, if childcare feels stressful or just isn’t possible that weekend, children are absolutely welcome. We want this to feel joyful and easy for everyone, however that looks for you. Please note: we won’t have formal seating or place settings specifically for kids, so if you plan to bring little ones, we recommend planning accordingly and staying close by to help them navigate the evening comfortably.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
In an effort to keep our wedding small and intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation didn’t specify a plus-one, we kindly ask that you don’t bring one. That said, if you have someone serious in your life at that time, feel free to shoot Sunny a text and she’ll let you know if we’re able to add them 🤍
