Getting to Our Wedding

Clair Tappaan Lodge 19940 Donner Pass Road Norden, CA 95724 The closest airport is in Reno, NV. You can also fly to Sacramento or anywhere in the Bay Area and rent a car. Please email us if you would like help organizing a carpool from any airport or from the SF Bay Area. If you are driving from the Bay on Friday, we highly recommend you try to leave by noon as the traffic can get pretty bad.

Stay with us at Clair Tappaan Lodge

Come stay with us at the Lodge! Clair Tappaan is a rustic Sierra Club Lodge that has been around since the 1920's. All rooms have twin-sized bunk beds and shared bathrooms. There are two person rooms, "family rooms" that sleep 5-8, or larger dorm rooms. For photos and descriptions of the rooms, check out the Accommodations page on the Clair Tappaan website. On the RSVP page you can let us know your preference of room type and we will try our hardest to accommodate your request. We hope you'll stay both Friday and Saturday nights! Pillows and sheets are supplied but please bring your own sleeping bag and towel. If you are traveling by plane and cannot carry a sleeping bag, just let us know and we will bring you one. The cost for staying at the Lodge is $50 per person per night and can be paid when you check in. Email us with any questions.

Donner Summit Rentals

There are a lot of options here and most of them are very close to the venue (look for how far a place is from Sugar Bowl--Clair Tappaan is across the street). These places do all have 3-5 night minimums, which would be great if you plan to take a longer vacation. The condos at Donner Ski Ranch are less than a 5 minute drive!

This is probably the closest hotel to the venue! Suites are condo-like with kitchens and are right next to the Donner Lake beach. 3 night minimum but discounted with our code! Also free airport shuttle.
