Where is the venue?

The Pavillion at Pepper Plantation is located at 3536 Thunder Gulch Trl. Awendaw, SC 29429. It is 30 minutes away from downtown Charleston and 45 minutes from the Charleston International Airport.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, followed by an indoor reception for dinner and dancing.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We’d love for our guests to dress in semi-formal attire as we celebrate together. Gentlemen might consider dress pants with a button-down shirt and jacket, with a tie if they wish. Ladies could wear a cocktail or midi dress. We ask that you skip jeans, shorts, or very casual wear. Come dressed to celebrate and feel your best!

What will the weather be like?

October in Awendaw, South Carolina is typically mild and pleasant. Afternoon temperatures usually reach the mid-70s, with evenings cooling into the 60s. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap once the sun sets, as the evening air by the water can feel a bit cooler.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refer to their invitation to see if a plus one has been included. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Answer

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only event, with the exception of close family children. We hope you enjoy a fun night out and celebrate with us!
