Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes, all guests will need a valid passport to enter Mexico. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Do I need a VISA?

Answer

Most guests traveling from the U.S., Canada, and many other countries do not need a visa for stays under 180 days.

What is the dress code for the Wedding Day?

Answer

The main ceremony and reception will be elevated resort wear — think nice sundresses or maxi dresses, breathable dress shirts or button-downs, light suits or slacks, and polished but beach-friendly footwear.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In Puerto Vallarta, the normal temperature during the end of December and early January is warm and dry, with average highs in the low to mid-80s Fahrenheit and lows in the high 60s to low 70s. The weather is typically pleasant, with clear skies and sunshine, making it a great time to visit.

Is Transportation Provided?

Answer

Shuttles will be available from the hotels to the boat & from the boat to the reception restaurant. Details will be shared closer to the date. For everything else, taxis and rideshares are easily & readily available.

Does Puerto Vallarta have Ubers?

Answer

• Yes - you can easily book transportation through your uber app. • If you prefer to use pesos, you can also easily get a Taxi. • Mexico also offers a cheaper rideshare app (inDrive) - that also only takes pesos.

Can I drink the water in mexico?

Answer

We recommend drinking bottled or filtered water to avoid any travel hiccups. Most hotels and resorts provide safe drinking water.

What's the best way to pay for things in mexico?

Answer

Most places accept credit cards and pesos. It’s a good idea to have some cash (in pesos) for tips or small vendors. ATMs are widely available.

What's the Tipping etiquette in Mexico?

Answer

Tipping is appreciated and expected at most resorts, restaurants, and for shuttle drivers. A general rule is 10–15% at restaurants and a few dollars for housekeeping or bellhops.

Due to the cost of traveling to Puerto Vallarta during the holiday - we are not asking for any additional gifts.
