Kyle and I met on campus during our first year of college, right outside of the student center. I know, so romantic! We had mutual friends who knew one another and introduced us to each other. I knew he was worth getting to know when I saw his Bible on his desk in his dorm after he stepped out. Yep, I am so nosey and totally went through his stuff! But I'm glad I did because as I flipped through the pages I saw that almost every page was full of highlights and notes. After a few months of getting to know each other, I finally asked him if he could ask me out on a date, literally! So he drove me, in my car (because he didn't have one), to Downtown Disney and I cringed almost the entire time eating at dinner, I knew, took him hours to be able to afford - gotta love college minimum wage jobs. It did not take me long to learn the type of man Kyle is and I fell so hard, so fast.
Elizabeth and I met back on campus at UCI in the student center through some mutual friends. I remember her wearing a sorority zip up hoodie with her hair tied back and glasses on when we met. After walking away I made a comment to my friend about how pretty she was. Fast forward a few months of getting to know each other and she finally asked me on our first date (LOL) I think I was a combination of me being nervous and oblivious. I learned from then that I need to be the one asking her out haha. Even though she might intimidate me sometimes, I realized how much of a go getter she was and it really attracted me. The first time I asked her to be my girlfriend, she actually said no. I made her a nice crab and pasta dinner (before she was vegan) and she thought that we should wait a little longer. But a month or so later we were finally in a relationship and I continuously fell faster and faster for her. Something about her consistently drew me closer and closer to her and my heart knew that she was the one.
