When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31, 2025. It is greatly appreciated if you respond at your earliest convenience so we can finalize our guest count and arrangements with our vendors.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at the Hilton Charlotte University Place. There are a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate. Use link to book online or call and mention “Bluefort/Williams Wedding”. Please book by Aug 27, 2025.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Semi-formal or Cocktail attire. Please do not wear white.

How early should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the venue by 3:30pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be ample parking available in the venue’s private parking lot (Free Parking)

Can children attend the wedding?

Answer

Due to there being an open bar at the reception and wanting to limit potential interruptions or distractions during the ceremony, we have decided kids under 13 years old cannot attend. We made this decision based on the number of guests asking if they can bring young children and because we want to ensure everyone can relax and have a good time during the celebration without distractions or concerns about their young kids being at an event where adults will be drinking.

Can I bring a date/plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations and catering arranged for a specific number of guests, we cannot allow for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own - unless mentioned and approved directly by the bride or groom. If you have any questions and/or concerns regarding additional guests, please reach out to the couple directly.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you are part of the immediate families or the wedding party (bridesmaids/groomsmen), more info about the rehearsal dinner will be announced. Note: This will take place the night before the wedding (Fri, Sept 26th).
