Not really. The "venue" is an active cattle farm and the vibe is very casual. Jeans and jean/khaki shorts are just fine! Casual dresses with boots or tennis shoes also work. Bring clothes that are comfy and you can move in. We would love for you to explore the farm while you are here. Plus it will be a small hike to the ceremony location so heels are not recommended.
Of course!
Leashed dogs welcome!
Not great. Verizon typically gets alright signal at various locations around the farm whereas AT&T will be really spotty. There will be wifi available at the Laurel House for limited use. Plan on a mostly disconnected day/weekend.
Bringing a resusable water bottle is highly encouraged. If you are planning to camp please bring a tent (or some sort of sleeping shelter i.e. camper, hammock etc.), a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat, and a pillow. If you are unable to bring any of these things, please let Kathryn know and we are happy to provide extras! Bring shoes you are okay with getting muddy. If you foresee that you will want specific snacks or drinks please bring those (the nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away).
In the event of rain, all activities will be moved into a barn. We have an empty barn for folks to pitch tents to stay dry.
The farm has numerous labeled trails to hike. We will also have games, crafts and tie-dye.
