From the beginning they connected over a love of being outside enjoying nature. In August 2018 she introduced him to Colorado (and her best friend Rachel) for the first time and the group hiked to the beautiful Lake Isabelle. He was nervous all day but she had no idea. When they reached the lake, they spent time soaking in the beauty before taking "one more picture". He smiled for the camera then turned and dropped to one knee. Through happy tears she said "yes"!
