Amy and Joey met in high school Geometry! Joey was a "too cool" senior and wanted nothing to do with Amy, who was a sophomore, so he ignored her for almost the entire school year. Her charms worked eventually and Amy and Joey started dating in April 2008! 11 years of growing up together and they're finally getting married!

The proposal happened during an epic road trip around Scotland! The plan was put in motion quite a bit in advance by Joey, Lisa, and Hunter and the location was set - Quiraing, Isle of Skye. When the day came, Amy was beat from hiking for three days and tried to stay behind at the hotel to rest (to no avail). She was forced to go on the hike and complained the whole way up to the trailhead. After hiking a bit, there was a beautiful lookout point that Lisa had Amy pose in front of with her back to the camera. When she turned around, there was Joey down on one knee! Most rewarding hike ever!
