Maid of Honor
Grace is my sister, my best friend and the social butterfly of our family. I find myself laughing the hardest when we’re together. Grace is incredibly driven. She’s also been known to play a mean tambourine. Over the years she’s been my sounding board, defender and cheerleader. I'm so glad to have her by my side on this day and every day.
Best Man
Brayden is a best friend and brother to me. He introduced me to goose hunting in sixth grade and we haven’t strayed very far from each other since. Through the good and the bad, I don’t think we have actually ever been mad at each other. He’s always been encouraging and supportive whenever I needed it and I’m blessed to be a godfather to his son, Reed.
Matron of Honor
Megan is not only a friend but also family. She was my roommate and hype girl in grad school leaving me motivational notes, being my volunteer patient and making me countless dinners. The best dinners were eaten together on tv trays while watching Friends reruns. She is always up for an adventure whether it’s a weekend trip for a country music concert or just a quick trip to Target. She loves her people and I feel incredibly blessed to call her my friend.
Best Man
Growing up, my brother was always willing to attempt pretty much anything I encouraged him to do. The amount of ceiling tiles and light covers we ruined playing hockey in our basement is ridiculous. The basement drywall didn't fare too well either. I'm not sure if we ever decided who could ride their bike the longest, hands free, around Mackinaw Island. We were competitive, but I was always looking out for him.
Bridesmaid
Chelsey is my cousin but growing up people always asked if we were sisters. Being four years apart, she has always been someone I looked up to whether it was as an athlete, wife or now as a mom. We have made some incredible memories over the years and have been there for each other's milestones. We may not actually be sisters but we will always have a special sister-like bond.
Groomsman
Brady and I have been best friends since junior high. Growing up, we lived at each others’ houses on the weekends. We have a lot of great memories hunting and fishing together. In high school, you always knew he was pulling into the parking lot when he lit up his 83 firebird. To this day, we still make a point to reach out and see each other. If you ask anyone that knew us growing up, I’m sure they'll tell you we were the biggest instigators you'd ever meet.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I met in PA school, and from the very beginning, I knew she was someone special. Now a trauma PA, she’s someone I look up to — calm in the chaos, steady even when everything around her is moving fast. She’s the kind of genuine friend who always shows up and goes out of her way to support the people she loves. I’m so proud to call her my friend.
Groomsman
In my freshman year of college at MSU, Adam and I were randomly paired with Ben as our suitemate. He is the biggest Green Bay Packers fan despite living less than an hour from Ford Field. Ben is also a diehard MSU fan and introduced me to Potbelly's, the best place to get a sub near campus. I was honored to be a part of his wedding and will always look forward to hanging out with him and his wife, Lauren, when they visit the Thumb for our annual 4th of July celebration.
Bridesmaid
Annemarie and I met in PA school. I knew right away we were meant to be friends when she was just as nervous as I was to introduce herself to the class on orientation day. She’s the most relatable person, always able to find humor even in the most stressful situations. A proud boy mom, plant lover, candle maker, and Halloween enthusiast, she has a way of filling every space with good energy. Her ability to laugh through life and make everyone feel at ease is just one of the many reasons I’m so grateful to have her in my life.
Groomsman
Adam and I have been friends forever. We grew up playing hockey together and he carried our golf team to a district championship our sophomore year of high school. He has always been a go -with- the- flow kind of guy who is also a lot of fun to be around. Adam is the ultimate groomsman as he’s been in 5+ weddings so far – a testament to the type of friend he is. He should know his suit size by heart now.
Bridesmaid
Kate is Jacob’s sister and mom of Vivian and Rowan, his sweet niece and nephew. She’s an impressive example of balance — an internal medicine physician, wife, and mom who somehow manages to juggle it all. She’s also the only person I know who loves Harry Potter as much as I do. I’m lucky to be gaining her as a bonus sister and I’m looking forward to all of the years of memories ahead.
Groomsman
In 2019, Vaughn was lucky enough to marry my sister, Kate. Together they made me an uncle to Vivian and Rowan. He’s the guy you call if you ever want to shoot guns or need something coded, and he’s known for making some seriously good smoked meat. Vaughn is a solid guy all around — I’m thankful to call him family.
