About five years ago, I swiped right and superliked my future wife, never knowing that this simple action would change the course of my life. After a few months of getting to know each other through long-distance conversations, I decided to take the leap and book a flight down to Florida for Valentine's weekend in 2020. It was there, at Cocoa Beach, that we officially began dating, and I soon discovered the truth: she’d had a crush on me since high school, and I’d been completely oblivious to it all along. Despite the challenges of being apart due to long distance, we made it work, staying connected through every twist and turn. Just when we were beginning to build our relationship, the world was struck by the pandemic, shan found herself stuck in Illinois for nearly a year. Eventually, we made the bold decision to leave the cold Midwest behind and start a new chapter in Austin, Texas. The move wasn’t easy, but it was the start of an exciting adventure—just the two of us, forging a new life together in a city we loved. Over the years, we've celebrated countless milestones: advancing in our careers, learning and growing together as partners, and most importantly, expanding our family by adopting our sweet pup, Oakley making our zoo complete. Through the highs and lows, we’ve deepened our bond, learning more about each other every day and building a foundation of trust, love, and respect. Now, after all the challenges, laughter, and unforgettable memories, we’re ready for the next big step. On April 25, 2025, we’ll stand together, hand in hand, ready to say “I do” and begin the next chapter of our story. This journey has been filled with so much love, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
