What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 5 pm to allow time to find your spot and settle in.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Anywhere from cocktail attire to formal attire. Feel free to dress up as much as you'd like, but no less formal than cocktail attire. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts or flip flops. We would LOVE to see our guests in colorful outfits, so please refrain from wearing black or white.

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

We're looking to have only our most loved friends and family around us on our special day. Your invitation will indicate if a plus one is welcome.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is mostly an adult only affair. Your invitation will indicate if your child is invited.

Can I take photos during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We have an absolutely phenomenal team handling photography, so we ask that you turn your phones off and enjoy the ceremony free from distractions. We'll have plenty of time during the reception to take photos and videos together.

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are indoors at Venue 808.

What is the weather like?

Answer

While the wedding will be indoors, it is still nice to have an idea of the weather when you're in town. In general, October in San Diego is lovely. The average temperatures are between 60-75 degrees. Please plan accordingly. We will update closer to the big day.

Where should I park? Is the venue Uber/Lyft accessible?

Answer

There is a parking lot right across the street from the venue as well as a few within walking distance. There is also street parking within the vicinity. The venue is accessible via Uber/Lyft.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are many hotels and Airbnbs in downtown San Diego as well as plenty within a 20-30 minute drive of the venue should you want to look farther out.
