Steven and Mary met through the digital world. They were both seeking a serious relationship. They hit it off from the start due to their interests in working out, engaging in social events, servicing the community, and loving the outdoors. Before they met, Mary requested that they start as friends. This would allow them to truly get to know each other for who they were. Steven respected her request and agreed to it. They decided to meet for dinner on January 21st, 2017. Their dinner went well, so their friendship bloomed. Over the months, they saw each other’s selflessness and loving hearts. One day, Mary invited Steven to be her plus one to a wedding in Austin. The day after the wedding turned out to be a beautiful sunny day with a light breeze. As they were leaving Austin, the beauty of Lady Bird of the Lake captivated them. They decided to spend the afternoon by the lake. They took a small blanket and rented some bikes. On their bike ride, they came to a large grassy area with beautiful Oak trees. Steven and Mary decided it was a perfect place to stop, relax, and enjoy nature’s beauty. They set out the blanket on the floor and laid down. There they began having deeper and more intimate conversations. Their hearts began to glow. Mary felt 16 years old, again... going on an adventure and falling for a boy. The proposal location was the same spot where they both fell for each other.
