Sarah and Ryan met their Freshman year at Pearland High School in the lunch cafeteria. They soon discovered that they were both in the marching band and started dating their Sophomore year on October 2nd of 2012. They have been best friends ever since.

On the morning of April 20th 2019, Ryan took Sarah out for her favorite meal (breakfast!). After, he proposed under a beautiful oak tree on Sarah's family land, while taking their puppy, Dakota, for a walk around the property. Family and friends gathered to celebrate after Sarah said "YES!"
