Cody: I first met Andi through a good friend of mine while at Florida State University. It was during a rough semester & was an instant connection. On our first "date," I was on my way to bring her back to her dorm & she said No. You're taking me for ice cream. Her humor & spirit have been nonstop ever since then. Many movie dates & Greek formals later we moved to Orlando where we probably went to Disney more than anyone should be allowed. Orlando will always have a soft spot in my heart because that's where I met Pierre - the helpful associate who sold me Andi's engagement ring! One year & one trip down on my knee later, Andi & I are engaged. It's only a short amount of time until we say I do. I can't believe the adventure that started 6 years ago on a late-night ice cream date has never stopped. I'm so glad that it never will. Andi: In October 2012, a friend from high school advised I become acquainted with his fraternity brother at Florida State. "He's newly single & has a dog." Being a cat person myself, I was unfazed but definitely engaged in virtual flirting when Cody Facebook messaged me 2 hours later. For the next 6 months we would casually attend FSU events together, critique iTunes libraries, & diligently attend every movie screening the Governor's Square Regal Cinema would release. We wore grooves in the brick pathways on campus from our frequent midnight laps from Westcott to Landis to Wildwood, to the Integration Statue, HCB (they never lock those doors, FYI) then back to Strozier. April 29, 2013 was our first day as an official couple - exactly 6 months from the day we first met. Since then we have taken on college graduation together, long-distance internships & jobs, 20 or so airplane rides to places like Washington, D.C., Connecticut, Asheville, NYC, & California, lived a brief Disney 24/7 lifestyle in Orlando, welcomed home sweet doggie Scout, & had way too much fun in Nashville. The mems are too numerous to count, & there's so much yet to come.
