We have essentially grown up together but we weren't really close friends at first. We became friends in our English class in high school. We started to get closer our senior year of high school, making simple excuses to spend time together. We had only been friends until one night at our friend's camp at the lake. He began playing his guitar and singing and I think my heart just about melted. I think we can both look back and know that was the moment it all changed for us.

We took a trip to Austin, Texas. Spent the whole day hiking and exploring, something that we both absolutely love doing. Afterwards, we went to a restaurant overlooking Lake Travis. Then we got cocktails and watched the sunset over the lake. He got down on one knee and nervously asked me to be his wife. Of course I said YES! Everyone cheered for us and it was amazing!
