Alex was the doctor of the unit I was precepting on in nursing school. One day, he sat down and took the time to explain something to me. I remember going home and telling my mom how nice this doctor was to me that day, but never thought much more of it. Fast forward, six months later... I began working full time as a nurse at The University of Michigan Hospital. Alex's next rotation was on the unit next to mine, so we would slowly start seeing each other in the hallways and sharing a computer room. Later on, Alex reached out to me on Hinge (... yes, Hinge) and immediately asked me out on a date. We had our first date at The Chop House in Ann Arbor, and over desserts, Alex finally realized who I was all along. Then, well... we just never stopped dating LOL
