Its FINALLY happening!!

What started out as just hanging out at our favorite bar, sharks and shooters, turned into something neither of us had in mind. At first I wanted nothing to do with Colby, but he tried and tried and tried until I said yes and let him come to my house for movie night. We watched a chick flick and a kids movie, so that he would know what he was getting himself into with me, and he loved the movies more than I did but I doubt he will ever admit it. Two short months later he asked me out on the drive home and the rest is history.

We planned spending my birthday (Megan) in Charlotte, NC for the St. Patrick's Day pub crawl for almost a year and unbeknownst to me Colby was planning something on that day too! After getting our friends to distract me I turned around to him on one knee!! I actually thought he was joking at first and was so caught off guard I almost couldn't say anything when he asked. Of course I said yes and spent the rest of my birthday celebrating being engaged too!!
