Maid of Honor
Emily is Tara's sister and best friend! There is not much more that Tara can say other than that. Emily is truly the best travel partner a girl can have. There is no one else Tara would rather have as her right hand lady than her sister.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Tara are sorority sisters! Rachel was also Tara's long time roommate while the two attended Oklahoma State. No matter how long it has been, Tara and Rachel always pick up right where they left off, even if that means having a 24 hour movie marathon and not seeing the light of day. Rachel has been the epitome of a best friend through the years.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Tara met while taking classes at Oklahoma State. They became best of friends after studying abroad in Europe over summer 2011. The two have survived numerous road trips together, including one to Waco before the Gaines made it cool! There is absolutely no one Tara would rather spend time with, especially if Lifetime movies and Sprinkles are involved.
Bridesmaid
Mandi is Tara's Little! The two did not know each other when they were matched, but they were told they would be perfect for each other. No truer words were spoken. From European adventures, Napa Valley, to Dallas New Year's Eve, Tara and Mandi have shared timeless memories with each other. Through thick and thin, the big little bond between Tara and Mandi will never break!
Bridesmaid
Tara and Kayla are sorority sisters! The two became super close during their 1L year at The University of Tulsa College of Law following their time at Oklahoma State. Neither would have survived ELJ, Secured Transactions, Bar prep, boy drama, or the job search without each other (and countless chocolate shakes from Braums!). Even though they cannot walk down the sidewalk to the other's apartment now, the two pick up right where they left off when they meet back up!
Bridesmaid
Tara and Jessica are sorority sisters! The two became close after sharing a four girl room (*cabin*) in the sorority house and realizing their mutual obsession with Oklahoma State athletics. Tara and Jessica took on date parties, football games, golf tournaments, and recruitment drama together. Four years at Oklahoma State would not have been as fun without StG!
Bridesmaid
Madison is the groom's sister. She played a huge part in helping Austin pull off his and Tara's engagement. Madison is the one who openly predicted Tara and Austin would work out in the first place. Not only is Madison a huge help in all things wedding, she is super fun to hang out at the beach with (unless there is an iguana in the water and then nope!) Having one sister is already fun, and Tara is super excited to add Madison as a second!
Bridesmaid
Carsen is the groom's sister. She played a big role, whether she knows it or not, in making Tara's first visit to Maryland a great one. Nothing is more intimidating than driving a million hours to your brand new boyfriend's house to spend your first holiday away from family. Not only was Carsen easy to talk to, but her sense of humor made for a great start to the holiday weekend. Tara could not be more excited to add a third sister to the mix!
Best Man
In 2007, Matt's family moved in across the street from Austin's on Ft. Meade and the two have been almost inseparable since. From basketball in the driveway, trips to the driving range, pick-up hockey, ski trips, Saturday morning workouts, jet-skiing and wake boarding, half-marathons, to hanging out on his back porch watching the water, and every Cal-Tort and Panda Express trip in between, Matt is responsible for some of Austin's best memories.
Groomsman
Austin's dad is the best role-model, teacher, story teller, sailing buddy, and friend he could ask for. There are not enough words on this website to describe how much it means to Austin to share this day with him!
Groomsman
Since 2010, Michael has been a great friend of Austin's and has slowly become part of the family. Austin cannot remember a Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or Mother’s Day without Michael and Matt celebrating with his family.
Groomsman
Eli and Austin went to law school and played hockey for AU together. Even though he cannot skate backwards, there are not many other people Austin rather drive from DC to Virginia Beach and back with at 2:00 AM. From floating down rivers and in the bay, swimming laps in the pool before late night skates, to beach volleyball in South Carolina, Austin is excited to add another memory with Eli!
Groomsman
Austin and Dan met through AU hockey and ended up going to law school together for a year. Dan has never scored on Austin, ever, but he tries hard. Dan and Austin once drove from Hartford, CT to New York City and on to Philadelphia and Baltimore in one day. Austin cannot wait to add to the memories in Oklahoma!
Groomsman
Austin met Josh during his first year at American during hockey tryouts. Josh will happily tell you about AU hockey’s glory days and he will even share his EXTENSIVE calisthenics routine with you if you ask nicely. From boat days, croquet matches, hockey trips to no-where Pennsylvania, and all of the adventures in between, Austin is excited to have Josh be a part of this big day!
Groomsman
In 2013, Austin met Corey playing hockey for AU. No matter how badly the team was losing, in the 3 years the two played together, Corey's response was always “we can come back guys, let’s just have fun!” They usually never did, but Austin always had fun skating with Corey!
Groomsman
Austin has known Mike since 7th grade when Mike and his family lived across the street from Austin's family on Ft. Meade. From jokes and pranks on Bus #88, surviving MacArthur Middle School, snow boarding trips, beach trips, high school shenanigans, to college and law school graduations, Mike and I have truly grown up together!
House Party
Kristy and Tara met at Officer Development School in Newport, Rhode Island. Kristy was across the hall from Tara and was the perfect person for Tara to take on the Navy with. Kristy and Tara are so similar that they are often mistaken for the other, and neither minds that comparison. When most people stop talking after graduation, Kristy and Tara have only gotten closer!
House Party
Emily and Tara met during sorority recruitment before the start of their first year at Oklahoma State! Although they did not share sorority houses, they did share the same floor in their dorm. From Late Night at LifeChurch to navigating their first year of college, they knew they found a lifelong friend. Between the two, they have lived in five different states since graduation, but Emily has remained one of Tara's sweetest friends.
House Party
Tara and Ashley have known each other since the early days of Dry Gulch U.S.A! From matching Gap outfits to synchronized music videos, Tara and Ashley have had a lasting friendship. Although Ashley moved away, when she returned for college at Oral Roberts, the two picked up their old friendship. Nothing got Tara through law school and internships like sushi nights with Ashley!
House Party
Kendall and Tara go way back to Kids on the Move and when such a thing as prop check out existed. It was not until the tail end of college/after graduation that the two became good friends. Kendall was a constant sounding board and guiding light throughout law school. She was also a constant source of entertainment and fun. Even now, every time Tara comes home, even if for 72 hours, Kendall stops by the house to hang out and catch up. Every girl should be lucky enough to have such a fun, steadfast friend!
