We're getting married

So, how did we meet? There are a few versions of this story. Mine, hers, and the one our mutual friend Chukwudi keeps taking credit for. The truth is that love found us, and we decided not to run. It all started in 2019 in Lagos. Chukwudi invited us for an outing, and there she was, this quiet, mysterious girl who clearly didn’t want to talk to anyone. Naturally, I took that as a challenge. We ended up talking for hours and somehow went on a swing ride together. For context, she’s terrified of heights, so technically, I risked my life for love that day. After that, we lost touch for years. Then in 2024, Chukwudi sent me an old video of us on that swing and said, “Guy, remember this babe?” Honestly, I didn’t. Then he sent her page, and everything clicked. I messaged her, and she replied, “Who is this?” Apparently, I made a really strong impression back then. Beauty will say I stalked her for a while, don't believe her lol !!!!!! Still, we started talking again, and this time she didn’t forget me. Since then, it’s been nonstop. Conversations, laughter, and a friendship that grew into something real. Now here we are. She’s my rock, my peace, my headache, and my best friend all in one. Thank you for being here to celebrate with us. Turns out, sometimes getting ghosted for five years is just part of the love story.
